Heatseeker is all about taking a chance.
In 2013 an adventurous Californian, fed up with his corporate 9 to 5, bought a one way ticket to Santiago, Chile. He quickly discovered that Chile lacked something he desperately needed...hot sauce! After searching store after store and coming up empty handed, the young adventurer bought fresh peppers, garlic, and onions and got to work. After a few days of experimenting in his kitchen, the first Heatseeker sauces were born. Heatseeker Hotsauce quickly became popular among the expat community and soon became a hit with the locals. Heatseeker has been featured on Chilean television and several popular publications throughout the Santiago region and is credited as being a pioneer of Chile's craft sauce movement. In 2017, the Californian returned home to begin the next chapter of the Heatseeker story. In February 2019, Heatseeker's Gateway Green, its flagship cilantro lime sauce, won the World Hotsauce Award's 2nd place prize in the Medium category. This is just the beginning!
